There, Mr. Salomon was fortunate enough to represent clients who sustained severe and catastrophic injuries involving areas of personal injury litigation, medical malpractice, and product liability. Prior to his time as a plaintiff’s personal injury attorney, Mr. Salomon worked at a medical malpractice defense law firm where he was a trial assistant.
Mr. Salomon received his Juris Doctor from Touro College Fuchsberg Law Center in Central Islip, New York and his Bachelor of Arts from Long Island University - Post Campus, in Brookville, New York. Mr. Salomon graduated with a major in Criminal Justice.
Mr. Salomon has a passion for educating young men and women who have an interest in the law field. In the past, Mr. Salomon volunteered as a mock trial host for The Justice Institute sponsored by Touro Law Center and the United States District Court Eastern District of New York. The Justice Institute provides opportunities for 10th grade High School students from 25 schools in both Nassau and Suffolk County to learn the workings of the Federal Courts and the criminal justice system. This week-long interactive learning program has provided hundreds of students the opportunity to learn and develop basic skills as they compete against each other in a mock trial competition held inside actual Federal courtrooms.
Mr. Salomon, known by his clients and close colleagues as “Drew” was born and raised in Queens Village, New York by his father, an immigrant from Haiti who worked extremely hard as an MTA employee for over 30 years and his mother, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York who he describes as a resilient, hard-working woman that served as a supervising paralegal for various prominent tier one plaintiff’s and defense law firms for over 30 years. It was Mr. Salomon’s exposure to the legal field at a young age that led him to pursue the road of being the first person in his family to go after and obtain a law degree. Mr. Salomon believes that regardless of the societal odds against him, he too could become an attorney, help individuals in need of assistance, and provide quality service and results. (According to the American Bar Association, African-American lawyers, both male and female, make up 5% of the lawyer’s population in America).
Mr. Salomon is currently licensed to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey.
